Here it is-- the news you've all been waiting for. I am all manner of pleased to announce that tickets for CSTS Pittsburgh 2018 are officially on sale!

You read that right. Now, I know you've probably gotten used to just showing up and buying your ticket at the door, but things have to be a little different this year. You see, our new venue, the Parkway Theater in McKees Rocks, has a theater that only seats 45, so we need to sell tickets in advance so as to avoid any uncomfortablenes...

CSTS Pittsburgh is pleased to announce that we have a new sponsor for 2018! Jump Cut Theater (www.jumpcuttheater.org), the organization that used to be the Friends of the Hollywood Theater, is continuing its working relationship with CSTS Pittsburgh through its sponsorship of our charity screening of Serenity at the Parkway Theater in McKees Rocks on August 5.  The organization is also graciously handling the ticket sales for the event.

SAVE THE DATE!- 13th Annual CSTS Pittsburgh: August 5, 2018 at the Parkway Theater

Pittsburgh's 13th annual Can't Stop the Serenity charity screening of Serenity will take place August 5, 2018 at the Parkway Theater in McKees Rocks, PA.

The doors will open at noon for games and raffles, and the Big Damn Movie will begin at 2pm.

The Parkway Theater features a cash bar and micro-brewery.  Popcorn, hot dogs and other food will also be available for purchase.

All proceeds (except food and beverages) will benefit Equality Now.

New Petition to Save the Hollywood Theater

A Dormont resident has started a petition to cancel the pending sale of the Hollywood Theater, home of CSTS Pittsburgh since 2014.  If you're not aware of what is going on with this sale, please read the statement we recently posted.

Matt Black of the Delaware Valley Brigade is going to do a run of patches for the Brigades of the Pennsylvania Browncoats. There are five (5) Brigades: Delaware Valley Brigade, Susquehanna Valley Brigade, Rivers & Bridges Brigade, Woods & Mountains Brigade, and Mines & Mountains Brigade. I want to thank everyone who came out to CSTS Pittsburgh 2017 at the Hollywood Theater this past Sunday. I hope everyone had as much fun as the crew and I did. We raised a total of $515.50 this year. $51.50 of that will be donated to the Al Wooten, Jr. Heritage Center in memory of Ron Glass. The rest will go to Equality Now.
